# Writing Guide Builder

Use sample texts that reflect the tone and style you want in your writing guide. These can come from your own brand or any brand whose style you like. The key is to choose samples that match the tone you want to use with your audience.

You can create one overall guide or separate ones for different channels, formats, or audiences.

Let's go through the process of creating a guide with a Builder.

1\) **First, give your guide a title.**

Make sure your team members understand when this specific guide should be used.

2\) **Now, add sample texts.**

Don’t combine shorter texts into a single entry, and try to create at least three entries.

If these are, for example, short social media posts where length is an important characteristic of the format, create as many entries with post samples as you can.

Remember — the more samples you include, the more accurate your guide will be.

**To add sample texts**, simply paste the selected text into the Builder’s window and tap the Add button.

3\) Once your sample texts are added, it’s time to **add glossaries** of forbidden and required words, as well as words that should always be checked for exact spelling.

You can define these glossaries in advance and add them to the Builder, or tap +Create custom glossary to create one from scratch on the spot.

You can also skip this step and add glossaries to the writing guide later.

4\) Finally, **tap on Build my guide.** After a short wait, your writing guide will be ready.
